  • Proximus Group has decided to further invest in finance transformation by upstaffing its Finance IT team with the objective to gear up the implementation of its ambitious 3-year roadmap.
  • We are looking for a Finance IT Architect to drive the IT implementation of the Finance Transformation Roadmap. Example of projects are the Automation of our Accounts Payable Process and the conversion of our SAP system to S4HANA.
Role Description and Responsibilities
  • You take responsibility within projects at the IT side for the design and implementation of the FIN transformation roadmap and interact with the business, the vendor, and the integrator.
  • You are functionally responsible for the end-to-end integration of Finance Processess (Planning, Record-to-report, Procure-to-Pay) across systems e.g., S4HANA, third party cloud solutions and on-premise IT applications for e.g., Ordering and Service Delivery
In this framework you will
  • Take up the responsibility to own the configuration and integration of one of the financial processes.
  • Follow-up on technology evolution and proactively work with Finance to spot opportunities and implement systems enhancements
  • Be responsible to keep system documentation up to date.
  • You follow-up on the data initiatives with Group finance, ensuring that data handling is efficient and effective for all FIN internal and Proximus stakeholders. In this context you will:
  • Make sure the Finance Logical Data Model is implemented correctly in the IT systems.
  • Facilitate the access to the Finance Data available in the IT systems by standardizing the services.
Your ProfileQualification, Experience, Skills
  • You have a master's degree in economics/Finance and/or Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics or relevant experience in Finance and/or analyst (IT/BI) or data science.
  • Proven and relevant experience in transformation initiatives, including IT deployment, business process management and financial data management.
  • Experience in configuration of ERP systems e.g., SAP or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Knowledge of core financial domains, organization and processes, including billing, revenue recognition and assurance, procurement and 'order to cash' and of the IT systems involved and related data lifecycle, with proved experience in those.
  • Experience to implement E2E Processes across IT systems
  • Knowledge of the finance data models and modelling techniques
  • You have strong analytical skills and you can understand the impact of data in achieving business objectives and to translate them into concrete data needs and actions.

  • You are fluent in English. Dutch of French understanding would be great.
