We are in full transition from a European leading service provider of airport equipment solutions to a global leader.As a Group Supply Chain Manager you report to the Group Operations Director. You ensure an efficient supply of spare parts and subcontracting services to the 80+ maintenance workshops across the world and develop cost effective solutions in sourcing, purchasing, stock management and delivery.For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated colleague who loves a fast-paced international business and has experience in supply chain management in a maintenance/service environment.🎬 A snapshot of what you will be doing here:1. Process Ownership:Oversee processes within the supply chain domain, collaborating with local supply chain managers to establish and maintain group standardsCollaborate with the Operations Process Manager for the SAP related processes.Ensure existing processes are up-to-date and introduce new ones as neededAssess the relevance and adherence of processes within the group in collaboration with local supply chain managersDesignated focal point for all Supply Chain-related inquiries and concerns within the group, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.Translate identified improvements into a strategic roadmap2. Supply Chain Community:Connect the Supply Chain CommunityPromote continuous improvement. Collect and share best practices, translating them into group standards when applicable.Communicate changes, updates, and relevant information within the community.Coordinate and follow up on escalated issues, whether internal or with suppliersAlign on supplier relationship topics3. Supplier Relationship:Support the qualification of suppliers in line with group standardsDevelop and perform supplier evaluations for main spare parts suppliers within the groupCoordinate escalations towards underperforming suppliers and manage improvement projectsSupport negotiation of frame agreements with suppliers (OEM & OCM) and ensure their adherenceFollow up price evolution4. Stock Management:Monitor stock management across the group using relevant KPIsSupport stock valuation and acquisitionsSupport local operations identifying stock optimization5. Sourcing Optimization:Support local operations with sourcing, through data-driven analysis identifying possible improvements6. 2nd Hand Parts & Refurbishment Flow:Support the 2nd hand parts flow in collaboration with ECO-CentresDefine the required stock and promote the use of 2nd hand parts within operations.Investigate possible refurbishment flows7. Master Data Owner:Manage the standards to be appliedCollaborate with the master data team in maintaining a qualitative set of master data (material/task list/vendor/pricing).Manage improvement projects to optimize master data further.🕵 We are looking for an individual who:Has minimum 5 years of professional experience, from which minimum 3 years in Supply Chain.Has an excellent knowledge of Supply Chain Management and can apply this in an international context.Is experienced in a maintenance industry (preferably).Has strong analytical and project management skills.Is able to build a strong network and buy-in throughout the organization to execute supply chain strategy and projects.Demonstrates independence and self-initiation, exhibiting good judgment and strong decision-making skills in navigating complex supply chain scenarios.Has proven track record in process improvement.Is fluent in English – both spoken and written.Is willing to travel up to 10% of the time.Nice to have qualifications:Experience in supplier management;Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana;Knowledge of Dutch, French, German or Spanish.❤️ We think you will love working with us:Next to an attractive salary and 29 days of holiday, we offer:A top international team with an HQ in BelgiumA company with short decision lines where our employees are central to the success of the company and where we live by our company valuesFun team activities - We also enjoy drinks on Thursdays!An environment where you can develop and grow.
