- You report to the Head of financial Law & Project Finance
- You collaborate with your colleagues and are part of an international team based in France, Belgium & the UK
- Your are part of the business support of Engie providing support to the stakeholders located all over the world
- You provide accurate and comprehensive advice to senior management and other internal stakeholders regarding a variety of matters, such as financial law, securities, contract law, international private law.
- You work closely with the operational teams to learn and understand the business and associated challenges, opportunities and risks
- You maintain a proactive and pragmatic approach in helping to identify and mitigate risks for the company
- You analyse, summarize, negotiate and draft contracts as well as other transactional matters
- You may be involved in ad hoc missions within the group providing transactional assistance on specific projects
- You partner with the ENGIE Group Legal Line and ensure our company applies ENGIE Group's rules and recommendations in terms of Legal & Ethics
- You inspire and empower with exemplary leadership in your field of expertise
- You hold a European or equivalent Law degree (Master) with minimum 7 years relevant experience in a law firm or in the in-house legal department of a financial institution
- You have an in-depth knowledge of relevant areas of financial law.
- You are business minded, financially astute, conversant with financial instruments.
